This channel works to teach children the ASL alphabet through characters who both talk and use sign language. This show teaches children how to sign letters, later progressing to small words and phrases. Tune in on NSN from 6:00/6:30 AM CST to learn how to sign your ABC’s!

Mickey Says Sign is aimed towards the children within the hearing impaired community and it helps to teach deaf children basic ASL such as letters & numbers. Mickey goes on adventures with his friends throughout his home & the Disney universe. This show includes verbal and nonverbal language so children of all backgrounds can join in on the fun at 7:30-8:30 a.m.

This show includes behind the scene footage about the production of popular films. Shows how subtitles are created for each film. Includes in between specials that employ the use of sign language that is designated to help explain the films and their production. Tune in Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:00/8:30 PM CST to catch your favorite behind the scenes footage

A documentary that takes a deeper look into the lives of various individuals within the hearing impaired community in a wide variety of areas. This includes real-life interviews from all ages and ranges of people. It takes a look at how people in the hearing impaired community are treated in other parts of the world. Tune in on NSN at 9:00/10:00 p.m. to get

This show follows 18th-century composer Ludwig van Beethoven in his struggle to continue composing music with hearing loss. This drama takes place in Bonn, Germany in the late 1700’s and displays the features Beethoven, Karl Amenda- Beethoven’s longtime friend, and the various orchestra members that Beethoven has to work with. This show displays the struggle of Beethoven as he learns to cope with his hearing loss and how that affects his music and the relationships around him. Concerts are not only an auditory experience but also a visual one that many members of the deaf community still enjoy. This show features weekly viewings of local concerts with subtitles and interpreters

‘What’s That Sign’ is a game show based around signs within ASL. There are teams of hearing impaired and teams of hearing that compete against each other over categories of different hearing and non-hearing focuses. Team members are called up one by one to sign a single word or a whole phrase & the first person to get it right gets a point for their team.

This real-life show follows the lives of a modern day family & how they juggle the day to day with their daughter, Emma, being deaf. This show breaks down the differences between hearing and hearing-impaired kids in a real-life way. It shows the viewpoints of each character and the
struggles and frustrations that come with Emma's hearing disability within their family. Tune in every week from 5:00/5:30 PM CST

This show teaches the basics of ASL and progressively teaches more and more advanced techniques to people of varied ages. The first episode teaches the ASL alphabet and eventually works up to teaching more complex ideas such as conversation skills and more complex sign meanings.
